January 04, 2010 – Camargo Corrêa Group sold CNEC Engenharia to WorleyParsons Resources & Energy, a company with global operations and presence in Brazil.

January 17, 2010 – The Group now holds 31% of Cimpor. With a share of 31.17%, the company is the largest individual shareholder of Cimpor.

January 26, 2010 – Alpargatas Brazil disclosed a relevant fact to inform the receipt of the authorization from National Securities Commission in Argentina to launch a takeover with the purpose of buying 40.4% of shares of Alpargatas Argentina.

June 21, 2010 – Cement company Loma Negra bought 24.5% of stake at Argentine company Recycomb, who belonged to the American Phillips Service Corporation.


July 01, 2010 – Alpargatas announced the sale of brand Pampero and related assets to an Argentine consortium integrated by companies Agop and Cosas Nuestras. The operation value was USD 4.85 million. Pampero manufactures urban and work-related clothing, such as boots, cloaks, gloves and other protective accessories.

July 06, 2010 – Alpargatas inaugurated the first exclusive Havaianas store in the United States. The franchise was opened in Huntington Beach, California state, known as the city of surfing.

July 30, 2010 – Presidents Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, from Brazil, and Fernando Lugo, from Paraguay, attended a ceremony for the launch of the cornerstone for the construction of the first manufacturing unit of Cimentos Yguazú, Paraguay.

October 19, 2010 – The president of the Republic, Luiz Inácio da Silva, visited Serra do Facão Hydroelectric Plant, in São Marcos River.


November 30, 2010 – The two locks of Tucuruí Hydroelectric Plant on the Tocantins River, Pará state, were inaugurated. The work is considered one of the world's largest and was executed by Camargo Corrêa. It will allow navigation over 2600 km of the Araguaia and Tocantins rivers and the transit of production from agribusiness and mining activities from Mato Grosso, Goiás, Tocantins, Maranhão and Pará states to Belém Port.
