The largest and most modern in its segment in the Southern Hemisphere, the Atlântico Sul Shipyard (EAS) has installed capacity of construction and large vessels repairs of up to 500,000 deadweight tons (DWT), as well as drilling and offshore production platforms.

Equipped with a unique infrastructure in Brazil, the EAS is part of the select group of fourth generation shipyards in the world, considered the forefront of global shipbuilding. Located in an area of 1.6 million square meters, it has an industrial area of 130,000 square meters and dry dock 400 meters long, 73 meters wide and 12 meters deep. Served by two Goliath cranes, each capable of lifting 1,500 tons, and other large cranes, the EAS can significantly reduce the time of building of its boats.

Supported by a strong culture of continuous improvement of process and engineering, the EAS has been improving every year its levels of productivity and operational efficiency. The company also has the competitive advantage of its geographical position. Installed in the industrial and port complex of Suape in Ipojuca, Pernambuco, the EAS is strategically located near the shipping lanes of the Atlantic Ocean and equidistant of the main oil-producing regions of the world.
